Good points : staff were friendly, very helpful and there was always someone on duty who spoke English so that was a real bonus. Not too far to walk to nearest Metro station so made it easier to visit the sights & facilities of Porto. Breakfast was very good; bacon, eggs, fruit, croissants, pastries, all the usual continental breakfast foods but for me better cooked and presented than many of the hotels I’ve stayed in. Bad points : there was only a small area behind reception if you wanted to sit and chat with your friends. Room sizes varied, I met up with two friends and their double room was much smaller than the double room I had. The facilities in the rooms were not necessarily the same, my room had an extra armchair and the double bed was two large singles together. I paid over €200 for two nights and thought this was a little excessive but I only booked a few days before staying there so beware making a late booking the prices can change dramatically.

Overall, TRYP Centro Porto provides a pleasant stay with its combination of comfort, convenience, and delectable breakfast offerings.

An extremely good breakfast with plenty of selection. We stayed in a deluxe double bedroom with a balcony which I could recommend. My parents stayed in the premium double bedroom without a balcony and the additional balcony is so much better, they also had no tea making facilities which the deluxe room has. I would recommend the deluxe double which comes with the balcony and tea making facilities. The location was good for us which was about 10 minutes from a metro station and another 10 to 15 minutes into the town.

The staff was incredibly helpful, and the accommodation was exactly what I needed. The room was clean, with a nice shower and bathroom. It was quiet, and the room size was perfect. The breakfast was enjoyable and delicious 😋, and the location is conveniently close to everything. I couldn't have found a better place to work in Porto for a day. The private parking was a major priority for me, and this place truly delivered on that. Overall, it was an excellent stay."

Our experience really amazing because of the people that work there, specifically at the desk. Always helpful, kind, simply amazing. They were super kind to our little dog and even gave her a kit for her stay, a truly Pet friendly. I’m already planning to go back to this hotel. If you are the manager of this place and are reading this, please get these people working at the desk a salary raise!
